@LUFC1992_v2 You have to consider that the UK has vehicles that get get much better milage than the US is allowed to have. It probably works out to around the same that we all pay for gas.

I need to ask about gas prices. I paid $3.27 a gallon at Buc-ee’s. Is that considered a good price? For a comparison I’ve worked out the average price back home in the UK is $7.24 a gallon…

Drove from San Jose to SF for the first time ever today (I’m not from California). Absolutely shocked, floored, etc. at the incredible lack of development. Just mile after mile of trees and hills, not a single building or road, in what’s probably a top five value-per-acre area. I see why people are mad about NIMBYism now…

Pretty incredible that Elon now has enough money to personally fund almost 3.5 miles of the California high speed rail project
