The Tricky Case of Will Osula. 🇩🇰 Part of me thinks we should sell him and make substantial profit to help with FFP to reinvest. And part of me sees glimpses of a proper Striker who could do well in the Premier League. I'm torn on wether he's actually good or not? #NUFC ⚫️⚪️

I’ll never forgive our fanbase for how he’s been treat. Numerous false perceptions and the most ridiculed when it’s factual he’s in the extremely small minority of the squad that actually can play football. You’ve got a fan in me wherever you go lad. ❤️

@ConnorRC10 @busterforever Let’s see if Germany do in the World Cup . Personally I would like to see him play alongside Osula with only 1 winger .

@busterforever Howe admitted he wants pace upfront as that's his only way of playing. He has no clue how to get the best out of Woltemade.

🚨Sky Sport Germany reporting - Nick Woltemade is ‘currently very unhappy’ with his playing time at Newcastle after a disappointing last 5 months in the North East. Sources close to the player say If things don't change in the last 3 games, the German international will look to leave the club this summer. #NUFC This would be a disaster if he is forced out because of Howe!!

@ConnorRC10 If he had maintained form for of first 6 games he would have been a regular . He didn’t . Howe tried deeper role and it looked good at first then reverted to 10 touches a match . He has skill for a big man and a quick brain but little aerial ability or aggression .

🤔 If Newcastle United wants to be a top-tier European force, we have to avoid becoming a 'selling club' even in the SCR financial reality world 🙅‍♂️ The rumours once again today, this time from the Sun, are linking Sandro Tonali with a £100m move to either Real Madrid or Man City. Despite the stories starting to heat up early, but the board needs to hold firm. You don’t replace that kind of tactical vision or skill overnight! Sandro and his family are settled in the North East, he’s under contract until 2030, and he’s vital to Eddie Howe’s project. Tonali does enjoy a close relationship with Eddie Howe and remains grateful for the club’s backing during his ten-month betting ban shortly after his £55m arrival in 2023 from Milan. But when asked back in November about his long-term future, Tonali spoke honestly about the uncertainty of a footballer’s life and this is probably fueling these articles again now: 'You know [in] football you need to think year for year. The last summer was tough for us, for Alex, but this is football. If you have an option for your life, for another team you need to think about everything. I don’t want to say, ‘Yes, I want to stay here ten years,’ but now I’m happy here. I don’t think anything about another team.” Let’s keep our best players and build around them instead of taking the profit. Who agrees? 🙋‍♂️ #NewcastleUnited #Magpie247 #SandroTonali #Geordies #TransferNews #NUFC

@Magpie24_7 I disagree, we have to start player trading. What we need to do is stop living in denial like we did with Isak and start identifying potential replacements now for the likes of Livramento, Tobali, Gordon and sell on our terms and replace well, in a timely manner

🇩🇰 William Osula has finally broken his silence on the swirling rumours regarding his Newcastle United future. After a rollercoaster season that saw a summer move to Eintracht Frankfurt collapse and a frustrating ankle injury sideline him for months, the youngster is finally proving his worth on the big stage. Despite recent links to Stuttgart, Osula remains grounded: "Well, I'm obviously at Newcastle and I always have been signed here, so that's been the focus until that's not the case. You know what I mean? But at this moment that's the case and my focus is fully on Newcastle and doing my best here and having an impact." The striker’s wonder strike against the Red Devils has reignited the fire, especially after he was overlooked earlier in the campaign. Osula is now hungry for more: "I've had opportunities now and I'm playing more, so I'm really happy with that. I want to keep playing and get more opportunities. So, hopefully [the goal] can help me and push me on to play more and perform more." He isn't lacking in confidence either, firmly believing that his best is yet to come. Reflecting on his potential, he added: "Of course I believe a lot in myself. Only me and my dad really know what I can do. Moments like this can show what I can do and I want to keep showing moments like this throughout my whole career so that people can see what I can do on the pitch. I will always have faith in myself. I know what I can do on the pitch and I know what I can do, so hopefully it gives the fans some belief and faith that I can do such things on the pitch." At the heart of Osula’s journey is a deep-rooted bond with his father, Kingsley, whose sacrifices paved the way for his Premier League breakthrough. In an emotional acknowledgement of his roots he added: "Only me and my dad know what I can really do. My dad's my everything, I love my dad to the moon and back. He's the reason for everything I am today. I'm basically his legacy. He invested his whole life in me and I obviously want to pay him back and make him proud and show him what I can do on the pitch, so moments like this, I'm sure he's happy at home right now. He's done every sacrifice. He worked so many jobs, he's done everything, moved abroad for my career. He's sacrificed his whole life, basically, for me to be able to get to here, so everything I do is for him and to make sure he's enjoying and living a blessed life.". With Manchester City next in the FA Cup, Osula is refusing to get distracted by transfer talk or the "what ifs" of the summer window. He is firmly focused on the task at hand and making an impact under the lights at St James' Park. Closing out the discussion on his future, he insisted: “Right now the focus is here, now, today so, that's where my focus is. The next focus is Man City game, so take it game by game. No-one can tell the future. I showed today what I can do, so more game time and more performance. That's what I hope for.” He has to start tomorrow yeah? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

Darren Bent on talkSPORT has claimed that Aaron Ramsdale is "much better" than Nick Pope and he has suggested that the gap between the two isn't even close! 🧤 With Eddie Howe finally making the big call to start Ramsdale against Man United this week, the Southampton loanee silenced any doubters with a Man of the Match performance in a vital 2-1 win. While Pope has been a good servant to the club, his recent errors—especially against Everton—have made it impossible for Howe to ignore Ramsdale’s superior distribution and composure. Ramsdale offers that modern '11th outfielder' presence Newcastle needs to bypass high presses. While Pope’s pure shot-stopping is good on his day, the team looks more fluid with Ramsdale between the posts. With a season-defining run including Barcelona in the Champions League and Man City in the FA Cup, Ramsdale has to keep the gloves surely. You can't drop a keeper in this kind of form!? Who are you backing to stay as our #1 for the rest of the season or do you now rotate for the cups? 👇 #NUFC #NewcastleUnited #Ramsdale #Pope #talkSPORT
