Thank you so much for giving me such tremendous motivation, @PhotonCap. I will repay your kindness with good writing.

(x.com/PhotonCap/stat…)

@photon_era I have read a lot of these lately and have to say your writing style makes a hard subject easy to read and understand. I think you may be onto something here. Already waiting for more! Will be giving your posts a bell .

Thank you so much for your interest. Regarding stocks, I’m a bit hesitant to recommend what to buy since I’m just a small retail investor myself. However, I’m planning to write some posts introducing interesting companies in the future. Sorry about that, and thank you for understanding. I’ve also seen many great insights from @PhotonCap, so you might find it helpful to check them out. Thank you! :)

Before I Begin, There was a time when I was full of passion. Back in college, I studied really hard. People even called me a “library ghost” because I spent so much time there. At the same time, I loved being around people, so I actively joined various gatherings and events and enjoyed connecting with others. I also started running a blog related to my field of study during college, and I continued it for about ten years. At first, I mainly wrote posts to organize and share knowledge from my major. Over time, however, my writing expanded to include my personal life, graduate school experiences, and thoughts on many different topics. Even after entering graduate school, my passion could still be seen throughout those blog posts. But as I entered the later years of my Ph.D. program, life became increasingly busy. Now that I have a child, I no longer have the same energy I once did. I also haven’t been able to write blog posts as often as before. For a long time, I told myself that it was because of the “walls of reality.” But looking back, those walls of reality were not walls at all but my “laziness”. I thought I was too busy, yet I somehow always had time to watch YouTube before going to bed. One day, I realized I was mindlessly scrolling through YouTube Shorts, moving nothing but my finger, without even knowing what I wanted to watch. At that moment, I felt deeply disappointed in myself. So, I deleted YouTube. Two days later, I installed it again. The next day, I deleted it once more. For several weeks, I repeated that cycle of deleting and reinstalling it. Then one day, a close friend I know reached out to me. He had been writing articles related to our field, and he shared how meaningful and rewarding it was to grow through writing and to encourage others to do the same. In his message, one line stood out to me: “Instead of wasting time watching dramas, entertainment shows, or YouTube videos, it is far more meaningful to spend that time studying your field and sharing that knowledge with others.” The moment I read those words, I knew. This is it. This is my chance to become someone I can respect again. I have been far too complacent. From that day on, I made up my mind. I want to return to the passionate version of myself I once knew. I want to consistently write the things I truly care about. I have not fully begun yet, but I sincerely want to thank @PhotonCap for helping awaken that passion in me again. I would also like to thank @Damnang, who gave me a great deal of motivation. Now, I am about to begin a new journey. Five years from now, ten years from now, I hope I can become someone who inspires others in the same way.
