There's a radial logic to Bengal victory. Free elections, SIR purification, all of these basics are impossible without a strong centre. EC, courts, police, none of this democratic paraphernalia works on its own. Without stabilising the core, can't settle the periphery.

One of the biggest reasons the Bengal victory is so big for me is coz Hindutva has returned after centuries. Srila Prabhupada wanted to open a temple in Bengal but Commie govt didn't give permission. Imagine Srila Prabhupada opened 108 temples across the world in Mleccha countries but didn't get permission here. He simply told the commies that our philosophy is the same as yours, you believe that everything belongs to the State but we believe that everything belongs to Krsna, that's the only difference. Of course everywhere else Srila Prabhupada severely criticized Communism as a disgusting philosophy, but He did this to get the temple opened. By Krsna's mercy the permission was given and temple was opened. But it breaks my heart, that for so long Hindus have suffered in the land of Lord Chaitanya and finally they are now free, and I could actually witness this!
