Overall chance of being 1000 ft, or not far from it, does looks a bit high. So I would recommend preparing to be above that elevation, just in case for US west coast. Can vary in other places.

Important: I myself used to set my estimate at "1000 ft tsunami" (about 300 meters) for the event. I backed down thinking I was overstating. Then came these predictive programming news articles with it this year. I should revert back to setting an upper limit of 1000 ft then.
