@tescomobile 2 weeks now and still Not ported over! If anyone thinking of moving to Tescomobile and uses online banking, Authenticator apps for work study etc. then please don’t use Tesco. Awful service and so inconvenient!

Whats going @tescomobile over a week now for a simple PAC and Port over from our old network! we are still having to go use 2 phones. That’s 4 phones we have had to carry this whole holiday weekend. If not sorted we will be using our 14 day period to cancel 3 contracts!

@tescomobile been in your store 3 times to sort and contacted call centre and chat for the past 4 days, still nothing just told it’s being looked into. This is a truly awful service and nobody seems to know what’s going on. It’s never been this difficult with other providers!

@Bonn1eGreer If he’s from London and has no idea around Tourettes and the films or documentaries from John that have been available since the 80s or more recently Lewis Capaldi then that’s actually quite ignorant. Tourette’s knowledge is ingrained in British knowledge thanks to Johns.

I knew #DelroyLindo in NYC (he's from London.) He's a good guy. We don't know what wounds were opened up for him. He's worked a long time and hard-and this evening was frightening and humiliating. And for John, too. #BAFTA failed John, the men onstage-and us, too.

@Heavy_Boab My son aged 8 has been asking why everyone is now taking about Tourettes and shouting things etc. He doesn’t have coprolalia but does have motor and other vocal tics . At 8 he is now noticing people talking differently he was diagnosed at 6. This ableist attitude is awful!

Delroy Lindo called it “a classic case of something that could be very negative becoming very positive.” For families living with Tourette’s, this past week has not felt positive. Since the BAFTAs and what happened with John Davidson, I have been arguing that my son deserves to leave his home and be included in society like everyone else. I have had to explain, again and again, that Tourette’s is neurological. That tics are involuntary. That coprolalia is not belief, not intent, not character. Yet the conversation keeps circling back to whether people like John, and by extension my son, should simply stay home to avoid offending anyone. Stay home. Remove yourself. Do not attend events. Do not exist publicly in case your disability makes someone uncomfortable. That is the reality this week. This is not abstract for me. My son already navigates anxiety and the constant fear of being misunderstood. Inclusion cannot mean only if your disability is convenient. It cannot mean you are welcome as long as you do not embarrass us. My son deserves to leave the house. He deserves to attend events. He deserves to exist in public. And I am exhausted from having to argue that basic truth.

@JohnHundeslit If it was a disabled person that involuntary spit on them or had a motor tic that hit them - would it have been different? Cause it’s the same action it’s INVOLUNTARY!! I can’t understand what’s hard to understand. They need to watch the film before commenting it’s really sad 😢

The past week has not been positive for sufferers of Tourette's, or for John Davidson. Seeing these rich, privileged Hollywood actors bask in their own self-satisfaction and ignorance should be hard for everyone with a brain to swallow.

@WingsScotland Even if they were not warned, they could - you know actual watch the film, Lewis capaldis docu and understand that those living with Tourettes live with constant fear, shame and exhaustion EVERYDAY not just at an awards event. Compassion goes 2 ways! 😢

Jesus fuck. They were warned that a disabled man at a posh event might shout out inappropriate stuff, he did, they felt uncomfortable for two seconds, and now it’s like they’re returning from a long and terrible war 🙄🙄🙄

@olesoul57_2 Sorry this is just so awful! Tourettes Action had to release a statement to remind our community that people shouldn’t resort to being reclusive or refuse to go to social events due to what happened at the BAFTAs. Living with tourettes is everyday not a 1 off event! #ableist

I don’t say the N word. I don’t like the N word. I listen to a lot of hip hop and Watch a lot of movies that celebrate the N word. I understand it’s offensive to blacks. But this does seem a little over the top. Especially the whole “Hard R” thing. I’m sure if he didn’t use the hard R they would be crying just as much. Tourette’s aside, he’s a white dude that doesn’t speak slang. He probably says Trigger, not Trigga. He probably says Bigger, not Bigga. So that hard R is how he speaks. So whether he’s secretly racist or not, the way he speaks will always pronounce it with a hard R. Regardless, Get over It. It’s a fucken word.

You know what would be awesome. If at least one of these two came out and said: "We've looked in Tourettes and John Davidson and his life story and all is forgiven. He clearly meant no harm." But they won't and that says more about their character than John's.

@GoToThePictures Having a very close friend with Tourette's, she has NEVER used that word, and she lives here in the US. So I understand that the word is already comfortably in John's lexicon enough for it to become a tick in the first place. His tick was involuntary. His racism is not.
