Too many people think we can just want to change and we will. Doesn't work that way. No matter how many times I tell myself that I'm going to do something or go somewhere, majority of time it doesn't get done. I just can't force myself, just like someone who can't walk can't force themselves. If anyone gets upset with this, oh well. I've been told that I'll "heal" too damn many times.

A community group for the county I live in (northern WI) had to use an example of how two car thieves were caught by one of these cameras. They're from Iowa & they were caught in Illinois. I don't live anywhere near either of those states. It's low crime up here, but the county wants to install more.

of the neighborhood. If someone were committing a crime Flock can try to catch their plates etc as they leave the area.

Their excuses for these cameras is ridiculous. A Vilas County (WI) Community Group on Facebook posted a press release about two Iowa residents who were wanted for stealing a vehicle. They were found in Illinois through a Flock camera. The release was posted because we currently have two in a town of 1,600 people, & law enforcement wants to add more. People were asking why they're needed up here and that was the answer. 🤦♀️

If what Cassville did sticks, they won't be able to build anything for the next two years. If they try again, I have a feeling the same thing will happen. People who live in the Driftless Area are very protective of it and don't want that land destroyed. It's unique and the only place in the Midwest that the glaciers did not touch.
