Last week we installed a misting/evaporative cooling system to cool the farrowing rooms. We have been amazed by the results. On the hot days where it has reached 29 outside we have managed to have the rooms below 25. Happy pigs and happy staff #cooling #welfare #climatecontrol

@cattlefinishers Its a shame those subsidies are not going towards something essential to people living like food! Oh wait a minute,🤯 10% of emissions to something 100% needed to sustain life. The other 90% of emissions or essential to what exactly?😡

@hamishpork That's not up to the installer but the grid I believe depending on what feed you have coming into the property. We purchased from a local firm who commissioned and did the electrical install and we fitted the panels and laid the cable runs.

@pig_ws Great to see people going forward in these hard times Which company have you got to install and sell you the panels and other equipment We want to put up as many as the roof will take about 65 panels but Mole valley are only allowing 12 or 4.3 kva
