@Charlie_Carrel These are all quite philosophy-driven authors. The first person I think of when I think of philosophical fiction is Iris Murdoch.
"The Black Prince" is a good starting point.

@TheCinesthetic Casino Royale is the only bond movie where the theme song starts towards the end of the movie instead of the beginning. The film is partly an origin story, and it signifies that the iconic Bond has arrived.

@Liv_Boeree English spelling *usually* respects a word's origin. "Connexion" and "connect" come from separate Latin words ("conexio" and "conectere"). Hence the old spelling.
No one learns Latin anymore, people start thinking "connection" comes from English "connect." The spelling changes.
