@BillSpaulding It would be awesome if they opened practices back up at home again like when they were in South Mountain. I used to go between classes back in college…had lots of interaction with the players. It was a great experience!

Devils have an open practice in Canmore coming up in a bit. Pretty cool experience for players to get back to their roots here. A youth hockey game just wrapped up and a lot of kids and families are milling around waiting to see the Devils.

I need advice. So, my son arrives from school today and tells me that an older kid told him at recess that his dad(me) is “trash at hockey.” No biggie, kids say stupid stuff, right? But after thinking it over a little more, I realized it’s likely the kid’s father who told him that, and that bothers me…I can’t let it go. What’s the protocol for this. Do I challenge this pigeon via note? Send my kid in with a signed card for the dad? Or do I Iet it go and just enjoy the game. I’m all ears.

@therealcrazyray @ryannovo62 Absolutely, very good point, but the window is shorter with an “older” guy…we have a good 8 year window. Maybe pie in the sky thinking but trying to match a 1a goalie in that age range would seem like the best option…🤷‍♂️
