I remembered when Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his campaign talked about widening the Tax net, Obidients which included me at the time run around with it and jokingly mocked him by calling him a tax collector. On a closer observation over time I realised that given the conditions of the economy, it made no sense not to have an effective tax system. Governance needs money to run and in our case trillions of dollars has been sunk into subsidy on fuel and dollars. What Nigerians should appreciate this administration for especially on the tax law is that the government realised it needs money through tax but at the same time shouldn't place the burden on the people. The poor and the vulnerable wouldn't pay and payments only increases as income/profits increases. The elites who saw this as a direct attack on their wealth used gullible Nigerians to fight the tax law. This is one of the reasons I don't rate Obidients. They're not the smartest.

Yesterday, I joined my brother, the Governor of Ebonyi State — His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru — alongside other progressives in Abakaliki to stand with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The time has come for us to unite. Enough of the politics of lamentations. Ndi Igbo, we must move from the alliance of protest to the alliance for progress — an alliance for prosperity. We must unite. We must not waste our votes again. Progressives are working together for a renewed and prosperous Nigeria.

I think you people overrate yourselves a lot. What business do I have with your interactions? I am not tweeting for your retweets and likes. I am only sharing my views, promoting my party, candidates and participating in political conversations generally here. If you think I will bow to you or anyone, you must be living in a dream world.
Yemi | Faith × Business 🙏@Yemi_d_keyking

The best thing we as Obidients can do is to stifle this one and his hate filled brother of interactions. Don't interact or respond to their tweets. They're obviously the ones driving the whole thing!

Statement on My Appointment as New Media and Strategic Communications Director of the NDC. Thanks be to the God of my Covenant, my help in ages past and my hope for years to come. I wish to express my sincere and profound gratitude to my leader, boss, and father, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for the confidence reposed in me to lead the digital communications efforts of our great party. For many years, I have been an ardent supporter of Senator Dickson and the core values he espouses. What particularly endeared him to me is his principled and consistent advocacy for restructuring and the devolution of powers, two ideological positions I firmly believe can fundamentally transform Nigeria’s governance trajectory. Consequently, when he conceived the idea of founding a political party anchored on these ideals, it was a natural and straightforward decision for me to align with him and the NDC. Those familiar with my public positions know that I have always maintained radical conviction, intellectual independence, and consistent commitment to my beliefs. I do not follow the crowd, nor do I retreat from what I consider right. I began supporting the NDC from the very moment our National Leader conceived the vision of an ideologically driven political party. I was a foundational member who actively mobilised support and contributed to building the party from its inception, long before it gained national prominence through the influx of other leaders and their supporters. It is therefore a misrepresentation to suggest that I opportunistically sought an appointment only after the party attained visibility. By the special grace of God, I am not in need of the party for personal financial gain or prominence. As a young man raising a beautiful family while pursuing a career in public service, I have been blessed with stability and fulfilment. Like most Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation, I believe our country deserves better and that our numerous challenges can be effectively addressed through purposeful, visionary leadership. It is on this conviction that I have offered myself for service, beginning at the foundational level of governance ( the political party) which serves as the platform for grooming and presenting leaders for public office. Drawing from my years of experience in civil society and media, where I have managed communications for various brands, institutions, and personalities, I am committed to leveraging my expertise to position the NDC as a credible, viable alternative for Nigerians seeking genuine change. I acknowledge the mixed reactions that greeted my appointment. However, I assure all genuine supporters of the NDC that I have the best interests of the party and its candidates at heart. I will channel the same passion and energy that has sparked debate into promoting our candidates, combating misinformation, setting the national agenda, and advancing the ideals of the party and its National Leader. At this critical juncture in our nation’s history, we share a common goal. We must therefore rise above trivial distractions and minor differences to remain focused on our collective vision for a better Nigeria. Finally, I extend heartfelt appreciation to Nigerians for their overwhelming support, kind wishes and prayers. I never knew I was loved this much. To those who, despite our differences in affiliation, defended me fiercely and passionately, I will never forget your solidarity. NDC is my party. Sen. Seriake Dickson is my National Leader and with His Excellency Peter Obi and HE Rabiu Kwankwaso as our party’s presidential nominees, we are fully committed to ensuring their victory in 2027. Information is power. We will deploy it strategically and tactfully to deliver our message to the electorate. This battle is not won through empty rhetoric but through deliberate strategy, discipline, and tact.

The National Leader of NDC just openly admitted that the party prioritized candidates with the financial capacity to fund elections. According to him, there is nothing wrong with giving preference to aspirants who can bankroll campaigns, since the party was not created to sponsor anyone. In essence, the ticket went to those with the deepest pockets and strongest financial backing; not necessarily those with the best capacity, competence, or track record. This is same Party Peter Obi said is going to make the children of nobody become somebody🤣🤣🤣

Q: Did you prioritize people who could afford to fund the campaign? Sen. Dickson: Sometimes, in the comfort of an air-conditioned room, people can make all kinds of claims and talk like activists, but in the real political world, resources are key.

@BoldlyNigerian Why does Alex Otti keep misleading his people? Deep seaports need 15–16m draft to handle large vessels. A port 19 nautical miles inland means constant dredging just to get close. That’s not viability, that’s a permanent cost burden. This isn’t politics,it’s geography and economics.
