A full day of our trip was wasted by @walks. Got a refund for the cost of the tour but nothing for the travel cost to the meeting point or the inconvenience of having a day stolen from our itinerary. My recommendation is to AVOID @Walks for any travel tours.

What a horrible experience - Last day in #Rome, family arrived early and then 15 minutes after our scheduled departure, the @walks rep tells us that the day trip to Pompei, Positano & the Amalfi coast is cancelled. No guide, no bus, just a simple sorry and nothing more… (1/3)

Just over 48 hours since severe storms and high winds moved through Middle Tennessee, NES crews have restored power to roughly 92% of all customers impacted, equating to about 105,000 customers. That’s down from the storm’s peak of 115,000 customers. NES has 98 crews working around the clock to restore power to the remaining 9,980 customers. For those in small neighborhood clusters or individual homes and businesses, the process may take more time, but NES crews will keep working until all power is restored. Just as NES crews are often called to assist with large power outages in other parts of the country, crews from out of state are here in Nashville helping restore power to our region. Those crews are from Florida, North Carolina and Georgia, with additional crews arriving tomorrow. Those out-of-state crews are helping reset and replace many of the 122 power poles broken by high winds and falling trees. The latest numbers: •Customers currently without power: 9,980 •Total customers impacted by storm: 115,000 •Customers whose power has already been restored: 105,020 •Total number of broken poles: 122 •Number of crews currently in the field: 98 NES is ceasing disconnections for nonpayment through Thursday.
