Congratulations to Derrick White (2017 PIT, Colorado) on being named the NBA Sportsmanship Award winner! He came into the league with a diverse skill set and mature approach. He is now one of the top players in the NBA, and a champion in more ways than one. @CUBuffsMBB @CUBuffs

@CyroAsseo @Jamaicanhomey22 @hoopshype With all humility aside, this was an outstanding tournament. There were 10 players named to the all-tournament team, but there were another 10 to 12 whose play was also terrific. Agee (15.3 ppg, 9.7 rpg) was obviously one of those.

@Jamaicanhomey22 @hoopshype @PIT_Basketball Just evaluating players that performed well and had the most NBA potential. Rashaun Agee, was mentioned in my daily standouts tweets but for the shortlist he just missed the cut as a rebounding 6-foot-6 big. I hope he gets an opportunity, great rebounder with nice touch inside.

So it took 9 seasons for an NBA coaching staff to figure out how to use Luke Kennard properly? Amazing what happens when a coach elevates a guy to play to his strengths instead of just pigeon-holing him into what they “think” he is. At least JJ did some homework…

@yuhhh7w0k @mintont @BaselineDrift I will say one thing to remember is that players aren't static. The good ones get into the NBA and figure out a way to make themselves valuable. Sometimes, players who didn't care much about defense in college become NBA stoppers. Others develop perimeter skills they never had.

@yuhhh7w0k @BaselineDrift Not the same player, and probably not the same NBA teams where they get opportunities. It took Luka Garza years to break through, and he was National Player of the Year. You never know what can happen.

Jeff Peterson on Greensboro's championship and talent development "It's a direct reflection of the progress being made. I was clear from the first day I got here, Greensboro is a tremendous tool... I could not be more proud of that group. It's not easy... DJ Bakker has done a tremendous job, GM Cole Teal has done a tremendous job as well."

Scouting Notebook📓⏩ #PIT26 Chase Ross impressed with his activity + energy on both ends in the 🥉 game. He was aggressive in getting downhill, using his physicality to carve out space on his way to the rim. He was also was a valuable connector, which led to easy buckets for his team. He also cleaned up the glass on the defensive end, even tracking down multiple out-of-area boards. Further, Chase was effective on the defensive end with his helpside rotations, communication, and clogging up the passing lanes. He finished the night with 17p-7r-7a-2s.
