I've been quite lenient on Florian Wirtz this season as I am certain he will live up to his price tag in the near future. But so many of these games I am left thinking: what does he do? So ineffective and when you cost £100m, you want way, way more.

For me he’s the perfect Kane back up. Bundesliga proven and has the possibility to play CL football from next season on, instead of conference league. The step from Liverpool to Bayern is huge, but Lucho showed us it’s possible. Loan + option is the way.

If Liverpool were serious about signing Michael Olise, which they aren’t, he wanted to join Liverpool, which he won’t & Bayern Munich were happy to let him go, which they aren’t I would trade Florian Wirtz + £100m to seal that deal in a heart beat. Alternatively sack Slot & employ Xabi Alonso to get the best out of Florian Wirtz for Liverpool.

Serious Question : Would YOU cash in on Florian Wirtz this summer for a solid fee, or keep him for another season to let him develop further knowing there’s a risk his resale value could drop later? Personally? I’d give him next season ideally under the right coach 🙏
