I wanna give a shoutout to Team Warfare Network for designing the most elegant fix to the vehicle spawn camping issue in Battlefield 6. Air vehicle spawn camping has been fixed by giving the player two options. Air Deploy, which spawns the air vehicle at a random location within your teams air spawn area (rectangle on map), or HQ deploy, which spawns the vehicle in base. They have also moved these rectangles further back, which prevents lucky spawns, such as lib peak, where the new spawn player often gets to instantly kill the living player with no warning (no air radar, spawn to combat distance is minimal). Ground vehicle spawn camping is less common but also fixed by giving the player a choice between a forward deployment, and a HQ deployment. This is such a well thought out system, and fixes an issue that has existed in every Battlefield game that I can remember. Even in BF4 with air spawns, they were completely campable. Not a sponsored post, I just love this design so much. This design should be implemented into the basegame. @Dat_Jebus @SorehaNick Learnable recoil + spread is a tried and tested system that created the best gunplay titles in the series. Opting for random recoil over it punishes everyone as it just creates inconsistent feedback. I hope they fix it soon!

I swear casuals like anything that good players hate. The random recoil direction is something they should straight up hate too but some how they love it. I swear DICE could add Omni-movement from BO7 complete with the wall jump and if good players hate it, they’d treat it like the second coming of Christ.

Why in gods name would you add more randomness to the recoil? Who asked for this? Casual players didn’t, hell, they don’t even like the randomness in regards to the spread mechanic. Good players didn’t, more recoil is fine as we can control it but we can’t control RNG recoil directions. So it just feels awful. This is awful for bad players, good players, mnk, roller, EVERYONE. We genuinely need to unite together to get this removed, not reverted but removed since it existed before (and was bad before), they just amplified it.

@BalanceBF The changes may not be right but they have to find a way to prevent guns from being lasers like they were prior to season 3 especially guns that shouldn’t be lasers medium to high range.

Forgot to say this but the revive icon is still bugged LMAO. It is worse too cause before it would only happen here and there but now its literally 24/7. This has been a bug for 3 months alr and now its looking at 4 months. Spotting and the wall hacks not working on BT are still both bugged since the beta. Idk if they fixed both black screen bugs but I assume they r still in the game after 6 months. Game breaking bugs that aren't getting fixed 10/10 game.

Yea.... the game is garbage and nothing has changed but the gunplay for the worse. Golmud somehow is worse than the bf4 version and on top of that my fps goes low enough to where I can actually feel input lag. Even at 170 fps at the lowest I still shouldn't have ANY input lag though, it just shows how unoptimized bf6 truly is.

I'm not going to say roller didn't need recoil adjustments, but more random horizontal recoil is such a bafflingly stupid and artificial way to reign in engagement ranges over spread increase and reset. Game had so much potential, but they're going about fixing it the wrong way.

SEASON 3 Recoil Changes Comparison (on controller) All guns have 0 attachments besides the Miniflex sight and on a few weapons I added the extended mag to maximize the recoil pattern that's it (FOV is on 110) 70 minutes of season 3 content is uploaded on my YouTube Channel.

@steino_mp3 @EA_DICE Map is a positive, increased random recoil was NOT the right move though, it needs to be a learnable recoil pattern rather than adding yet another luck based mechanic like sweet spots. Hoping to see a change to aspect ratios too, changing to a smaller one adds vertical FOV!

@T0TALfps I’d love to have some more long term grinds, rather than just gun and player levels increasing for nothing. Also changing to lower aspect ratios adds too much vertical FOV and makes targets vertically smaller, even if you stretch to fit screen they stay the same width!

@tiggr_ Hey David, I’ve been given different answers to this from devs so want to know for sure, when changing to lower aspect ratios, the game adds vertical FOV, meaning instead of a stretched image, it actually just shortens the height of it. Was this intentional?

Battlefield 6 | 2026 Roadmap Update + What’s Next Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts on last week’s 2026 roadmap. Seeing the response has meant a lot to the team, and we’re genuinely grateful to have you on this journey with us. We’re continuing to dig through all of your feedback so we can focus on the things you care about most in the months ahead. In the meantime, we’ve seen a few questions come up consistently—so here are some quick answers: ▪️We’re actively exploring improvements to the combat experience, with gunplay as a primary focus, and will continue iterating on these changes with player feedback through Battlefield Labs. ▪️Ranked play will be available at the start of Season 3 in REDSEC BR Quads, MP Ranked arrives later this year. ▪️Railway to Golmud is larger than Operation Firestorm. ▪️Server Browser details are still being finalized, but it’s a priority for us to talk about as soon as they’re ready. Season 3 is also just around the corner, so you won’t be waiting long to learn more. Starting next week, we’ll be taking a deep dive into Railway to Golmud and how it’s been reimagined for Battlefield 6, alongside some of the changes and improvements based on player feedback from the recent Battlefield Labs tests. We’ll also be sharing changes to land vehicles designed to make their gameplay more consistent, responsive, and viable in a wider variety of engagements. Then in early May, we’ll walk you through the full Ranked Play experience so you’re ready to jump into Fort Lyndon when Season 3 launches. We’ll keep the updates coming as we head into Season 3 next month. Until then, we’ll see you on the Battlefield.
