It was a pleasure to meet Frau Anja Carron, Inlamobi President Europe, and Shri Vijaya Koumar, CEO of Inlamobi Pvt. Ltd., along with their delegation yesterday. This meeting was a follow-up to the MoU signed with Inlamobi during Advantage Assam 2.0, and centered on the roadmap for establishing the European Blue Valley Clusters in Assam, with a particular focus on key sectors including Tea, Flavours & Fragrances, and Traditional Medicine (Ayush). The Inlamobi leadership presented a strategic vision for a pioneering, large-scale transcontinental Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Cluster, linking Assam to the European Blue Valley network. The initiative aims to position Assam as a global hub for innovation in natural wellness and bio-based industries, leveraging European and Asian collaboration in biotechnology, sustainability, and trade. I advised Frau Carron and Shri Koumar to initiate coordination with CSIR, NIPER and Guwahati Biotech Park to explore collaborative opportunities focused on scaling Aroma Clusters and promoting research-driven industrial development. I also recommended involving Farmer Producer Groups (FPGs) and raw material suppliers to ensure sustainable sourcing and to foster community-based participation across the value chain. This initiative aligns with Assam’s vision of inclusive, innovation-led development, with strong potential to generate green jobs, particularly for women and youth, and to enhance the state’s role in the global flavours, fragrances, and traditional medicine sectors. @CMOfficeAssam @EUAmbIndia @anja_carron @vijayaiway
