Indian dads are different. I called my father to talk to him (not a family group call). We talked barely for 15 seconds, and then he passed the phone to Mom, saying, "Le Mummy se baat kar le." I was like, 'I called you because I want to talk to you, not Mumma. Why are fathers so uncomfortable on calls?'

Unpopular opinion, especially for Indian parents Your child didn't ask to be born. You have decided to bring your child into this world. Then the maximum responsibility of bringing up the child is yours - not the grandparents or not the school. You are just not responsible for their basic needs of food, clothing or shelter. Ofcourse Indian parents provide good education for their child. But this is not enough. A child needs to be taught about morals, values, respecting other people, humility. Yes, by all means the child can be confident, but being rude or arrogance is a stumbling block. Where is the child learning all this from? Ofcourse, from the home environment, from the parents. We can't anymore ask schools or teachers to correct the child. Those days are long gone. Now a days, teachers are even scared to scold the child, as parents come and complain/fight with the teacher about this. So, teachers come and do their work calmly and go. They aren't bothered to correct the behaviour of the child. So, the onus of moulding a child's life depends majorly on the parents. You want to see your child as a well adjusted, respected member of the society, then you have to do the hard work. If parents conduct their life in a proper way, child automatically follows. Because, an apple doesn't fall far from the tree. #Parenthood #Badparenting #Paren

Hot take for Indian parents that shouldn't be a hot take in the first place: Bringing a child into the world is a choice, not a favour. They didn’t ask to be here, you chose to bring them here. Give them love, patience and respect, not guilt. That’s what makes a child grow up to truly love and respect you back, not because they have to, but because they want to.

All those jumping in to comment on that kid from the KBC clip, have you forgotten the silly, goofy things you did or could have said as a child? The only difference is, you weren’t caught on camera. Let the child be

@SrBachchan In the end , If a kid is really a badass then yes he needs to be told that. And he needs to be worked upon to build certain behaviours with consequences of breaking them. + Parents context needs to be understood and if they understand the behaviour and supports it then +

I have seen tweets in recent KBC episodes with a young kid for his rudeness, overconfidence and impatience, and people blaming the parents for not teaching manners But we are inclined to link certain actions to behaviour and attitude. For example tantrums-> stuborness It is +

The real goodbye doesn’t happen when two people decide to break up. It happens gradually after that. When the silence grows bigger and the hope keeps getting smaller and smaller till it no longer exist anymore. Death of hope is the real goodbye.
