Join me as I move away from the Railways for a change and visit the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.
This historic bridge was built in the 1800s over the Avon Gorge and stands over 100 metres above the river Avon!

Really loved your videos on Leicester, very nostalgic for me… I found an old video of a train crossing over that exact demolished Bowstring bridge away from the direction of the now demolished Leicester Central you might enjoy. You can make out the River Soar and then the shops and houses down below on Braunstone Gate and then with the camera looking backwards, you can see the demolished factories on the opposite side of the bank from where Bede Park is now, just along from where you started your video. I share your opinions on how very sad it is they’ve demolished so much. Makes me feel emotional like taking a punch to the stomach somehow but very grateful and loved watching- you have a new follow 👍

Join me as I finally get to walk through Glenfield Tunnel on the Leicester and Swannington Railway. The longest railway tunnel in the world when it opened in 1832 this wonder of engineering was designed by none other than George Stephenson.
