Poland, Baltic states, now Romania. More and more Russian provocations. Yesterday the former president @MedvedevRussiaE said that the peaceful sleep of the EU citizens is over. Everyone in NATO should finally start taking these facts and words seriously.

The Royal Navy has a long history of building Floating Dry Docks to maintain the Fleet around the world. In the 1869, the world’s largest floating Dry Dock was towed across the Atlantic to Bermuda to support the Ironclads which at the time was the largest ever built. 🧵1/3

Ukraine is attacking targets over 2,000 km deep inside Russia. Today, a missile alert was sounded in Yamal – for the first time since the start of the war. This Arctic region lies more than 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border. Storyteller Putin is currently telling his brainwashed followers that everything is going according to plan and that Ukraine and half of Europe will soon surrender. 😂😂😂

NEW: British Airways, Jet2 and easyJet planes flying in and out of the UK are among thousands of commercial flights to have experienced suspected Russian “spoofing” of onboard GPS systems in the last year. Between 28 May last year and 28 May this year, more than 1,500 British Airways flights, 57 Jet2 flights and 46 easyJet flights were affected. It is believed Ryanair flights also had their GPS signals spoofed, a type of GPS interference where ground-based transmitters feed fake signals to an aircraft’s navigation systems, tricking it into displaying the wrong location or time. UK commercial flights are increasingly at risk of signal-jamming and spoofing which could prevent aircrafts transmitting locations while flying across Europe and Asia this summer. inews.co.uk/news/thousands…

Former MI6 Chief Richard Moore: Ending the war requires Putin’s desire to stop. There has never been any indication that he wants to end his war of aggression against Ukraine. We must lean in harder alongside Ukrainians to help them stop Russia from bombing defenseless civilians out of their apartments and homes, from destroying their energy infrastructure in the depths of winter. These are war crimes. And, somehow, we have all become a bit normalized to it. But every time you see that on your television, a war crime is happening right in front of us.

Russian-owned refinery in Ireland. Hundreds of millions € of alumina shipped to Russia every year turns into aluminium for their weapons. Now they threaten: sanction us and Irish homes lose power. This is the cost of letting the Kremlin own strategic infrastructure on EU soil.
RTÉ News@rtenews

Aughinish Alumina, the Shannon-based refinery at the centre of controversy over its raw material allegedly ending up in Russian weapons, has warned any attempt to sanction its sale of alumina to Moscow would have implications for Ireland's energy grids rte.ie/news/munster/2…

🇬🇧 UK at UN: Russia attempts to project strength through mass attacks, then comes to this chamber and plays the victim. But the truth is that Moscow's escalating attacks against civilians betray its weakness. Russia is desperate because it is going backwards on the battlefield. New intelligence shows that almost half a million Russian soldiers have been killed since the conflict began, while Ukraine still stands firm. Russia's war is failing, so Moscow is resorting to escalation and intimidation.
