How many bits does it take win an election? Prevent disaster? I don't know, but I build things that do. @Picogrid

For the last few months, I have been subscribed to the /r/Namibia subreddit It's interesting because Namibia is a very sparsely populated country (2.96m pop), English-speaking, but seemingly not mega-online, the subreddit only has 16K subscribers This means a country-level subreddit is full of threads like "does anyone have a lawnmower for sale" or "what do you guys think of this national park" or "who's hiring for a graphic designer?" or "help! i can't find a date" very little politics or big threads with tons of comments, just a lot of little items this seems like a pretty good view into the everyday mundanity of life in Namibia, which is just sort of interesting as a peek into the human condition elsewhere
