Yesterday, across from Ebenezer Baptist Church—just days before MLK Day, when crowds will gather to honor justice and equality—a homeless man was killed during an encampment sweep by an Atlanta city vehicle. These sweeps are so cruel, brutal, and utterly counterproductive.
