How universal is the term “sucker hole”? I use it alllllll the time but I feel like I’ve had to explain it several times recently and it’s made me wonder if it’s a regional term?

I have some conductive hearing loss in my right ear. While I was on vacation, my sister recommended bone conduction headphones, so I picked up a pair in the airport. When I started listening to music with them, I got weepy because I hadn't heard music properly for twenty years.
