You can shift-enter in the OpenCode input box now 🤝 Long version: We now support the kitty keyboard protocol. This fixes a number of keyboard input issues for interactive CLIs, including your favorite coding agents.

Was inspired by PewDiePie's vid to make my YouTube more minimal and remove the Homepage grid & shorts (I use the Stylus extension to add custom CSS) Homepage is blank so my only options now are the Subscriptions page or the search bar. Feels a lot cleaner, zero distractions.

Rule: If the prompt is likely to be longer than the code change, I should probably code it myself instead of using AI.

this is actually insane > be tech guy in australia > adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live > not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4 > pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA > feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold > zero background in biology > identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets > design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch > genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own > need ethics approval to administer it > red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine > 3 months, finally approved > drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection > tumor halves > coat gets glossy again > dog is alive and happy > professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?” one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline. we are going to cure so many diseases. I dont think people realize how good things are going to get

I wish as the agent was creating new content in the chat the new content could follow the theme. Like new/updated information was green and the rest black/white. Then you save or check you read that section and now the green is black/white.

Really enjoying the latest plan mode in @code. More intuitive - easy to follow along with selections.

Alex Karp updates us on his training routine: he's increased his dead hang from 4m36s to 5m05s in 6 months. "There are very few proxy indicators that are accurate for health. Dead hang, farmer's walk bodyweight, and VO2 max are the 3 that count." "Dead hang is crucial."
TBPN@tbpn

Alex Karp gives us his training routine. He trains like a cross-country skier: "To be a skier, you need substantial VO2 max and strength per unit of weight. I do three days a week of threshold running, two days of strength, one of endurance strength." "I just started doing dead hangs four months ago. I hit 4 minutes and 36 seconds." For perspective, the second-best mountain climber in Norway is at 4:22.

i kept wasting my weekends doing nothing so i built a button that kidnaps me. whenever im bored, i press it and it books an uber to a random interesting place in my city🚘 it has a physical digital push button connected to my raspi, and some python script. ive pressed it 11 times so far and never had a bad trip. ok bye, going to a 110-year-old wrestling pit in shivajinagar, blr. i don't know what to expect but i'm excited
