Given how fuzzing and FV are gaining popularity, I wonder if there are already auditors who perform in public competitions solely/mainly thanks to these techniques? It seems to me that the vast majority of auditors in contests are still doing 100% manual review

Latest audit was 3 days and was able to find 3 mediums and 2 lows. Happy I was able to achieve my goal of having a PoC in foundry for any vul medium and up + drawing a state machine and writing down a threat model BEFORE deep diving into attack vectors.

One of the most important aspects of security reviews of smart contracts is your mindset when approaching a codebase. You have to truly believe that there are bugs to be found. This makes going through a codebase multiple times a lot more motivating. As a dev I always have comments on pull request when reviewing code. As an auditor I have always found at least a few vulnerabilities in each audit and this mindset has helped me stay motivated over multiple passes of a codebase.
