Jesus Christ, why do we act like Resident Evil is some fiendish creative enigma that the greatest minds of our time have failed to unravel? It's literally a B-movie horror flick that pits a special forces team against zombies and monsters in a spooky house.

I recommend looking into Hasan more. He has played terrorist propaganda on his stream, interviewed a Houthi terrorist and attempted to normalize him, and more. He’s a step away from his uncle who named his channel The Young Turks after the Party which committed the Armenian Genocide. Hasan is not honest in how he presents his views and intentions.

in attacking Hasan Piker, the media IS promoting anti-semitism. CNN upholds the idea that ALL Jewish people have a connection to or are aligned with Israel. After years of genocide getting broadcast into your eyeballs you are being told to be against this is to be against jews

@PaulTassi Damn. I was really hoping for a profound plot that brought me closer to the meaning of life. Oh well, guess I’ll skip for forever.

@astrogo360 I expect it will be much bigger in scale than an upres of 3D if it will be the big holiday game.

Metroid Zero Mission is the last time that I can remember, but I think it’s extremely possible in this scenario. We are also in a new era for Nintendo. With NSO, it’s not like Nintendo will be able to get away with constantly re-releasing games. If Nintendo wasn’t adding anything new, a revamp of the 3DS version would be all we get, and it wouldn’t be the big holiday game. Or discussed as a “major remake”. This is how Aonuma felt about Ocarina back in 2009 and he leads the Zelda IP at Nintendo. I truly think this Ocarina remake IS the “next 3D Zelda”. nintendoworldreport.com/news/20397/aon…

@platpoint @chara_betty I'm hesitant to truly believe it will be an actually revamped version with new content/gameplay. Has Nintendo ever done something like that with any of their games? Seems like they've always just given their remakes a graphical upgrade and that's it.

@PlasmaticNinja @chara_betty I hear you and don’t really disagree with those criticisms. I’m hoping this Ocarina Remake is a combination of Traditional and Open Air Zelda in order to resolve these issues.

@platpoint @chara_betty Gameplay doesn't change in any meaningful way either. The only way it changes is that the enemies get tougher and you get to play more aggressively because you have more weapons and can tank more damage. But even then you may as well skip most combat.

@einexile @ALegendaryDrops You’re welcome! If that’s what you like, I highly recommend the game. You’ll just have to push through the first few hours. After that, it’s gold.

@platpoint @ALegendaryDrops Thanks for the detailed response. I gravitate towards games that let me choose my own path but not necessarily in a make-your-own-fun way. Generally these are MMOs, but this game looks promising.

I listened to IGN's writers whine about the review process rather than talk about the game, some had a chip on their shoulder that had nothing to do with the game itself. Also noticed that reviewer concerns flat out didn't reflect player experience. Wildly different priorities.

IGN Crimson Desert review(6/10) "The exploration and combat fall far short of the best open-world adventure games. the dialogue, characters, and story are laughably bad. The puzzles are unintuitive and janky, and the reactivity of the world around you is underwhelming."

Kind of like Tears of the Kingdom there’s a lot of “oh what’s that over there, gonna check it out.” The only reason I’m going through the main story is so that I can get new abilities that help me with puzzles and combat. The gameplay itself is the drive. The story is really only there to drive that progression. Which isn’t uncommon in a lot of sandbox style games. I’d say it’s a good sandbox story for the purpose it’s trying to serve. The exploration is a ton of fun. Lots of cool stuff to uncover whether that’s boss encounters, puzzles, or even just cool areas. Also kind of like No Man’s Sky, sometimes just going through the motions to gain more inventory slots is rewarding enough. Right now, I’m over 60 hours in, just finished chapter 4 of the story, and have seen maybe 20-30% of the world.

@platpoint @ALegendaryDrops I don't mean this in a dismissive way, but what exactly is the point once you settle in and become familiar with the game and the world? Do you find yourself wandering and goofing off, or do you eventually find yourself invested in long term goals and challenges?

@kiwitalkz @JuiceMan_V If Metroid Prime Remastered gets priced at $40 and maintains a high quality, I’d hope Super Metroid Remake would be priced “variably”. Guess we’ll find out.

So there are rumours of a Super Metroid Remake coming out but does Super Metroid really need a remake?? Its perfect as it is and for people that struggle with the controls Super Metroid Redux fixes those issues anyway. I heard years ago from a source(a bit of a mixed rep) that Nintendo were analyzing why Metroid wasn't more popular despite the acclaim the franchise has and they determined it was because the franchise had too many droughts and they wanted to prevent it going forward, I didn't think much of it at the time and thought it might just be noise but maybe it is true cause that's the only reason why I would think they would remake Super Metroid, to keep the IP in the spotlight because the game definitely doesn't need a remake.

Is it impossible that the Zelda team split after BoTW? Speculation ahead: The biggest criticisms of Open Air Zelda has been around story and dungeons. Remaking Ocarina of Time in the Open Air style gives Nintendo a foundation to work on these challenges. One portion of the BoTW teams handles that effort which would require a lot of time and care. The other team doesn’t need to make a new map because Tears was set to reuse the map from the very beginning.

So Nate The Hate is saying an Ocarina Of Time Remake is coming later in the year. I am still skeptical about this and have a few thoughts. 1. First off whose making it, no way it can be the Zelda team they are preoccupied with the next Zelda? What team internally has the skill level to pull it off? 2. A remake as opposed to a remaster would take 4 to 5 years and youd have to fundamentally rethink every convention in the game and would require a crap ton of resources. 3. Surely this isnt their big holiday game if it does exist? or they release it in October. Ocarina Of Time is my third favourite game behind RE4 Remake and Super Metroid, I love it to death but let's be real no way can this go toe to toe with GTA 6, and if I have to pick one game during Xmas I am 1000% picking GTA 6 over a remake of Ocarina Of Time and I guarantee many others will too. My belief was always an updated version of Ocarina Of Time on 3DS was more plausible.
