I don’t think they are toxic, I just think it’s different than it used to be.
IMO it has become more pessimistic and cynical, compared to when it was more silly and fun.
I do still listen to the post game shows.

@PeterSciretta @JohnnyHoey Because how many movies based on TV shows are actually that good? Most of them feel like stretched-out episodes or cash grabs that lose what made the show work in the first place. Rare for one to level up and justify being on the big screen. Star Trek might be the only exception

-‘14 : Willie is healthy
-‘15 : Poythress is healthy / they call the SC violation
-‘17 : Luke Maye misses
-‘19 : Herro could make a shot
-‘20 : COVID didn’t happen
even getting 1-2 of these VERY attainable wins changes this program in ways that were still feeling today #BBN

UConn will play for their 7th national championship Monday, they are 6-0 in national championship games.
They have played against mid majors in 4 of those championships; Georgia Tech, Butler, Kentucky and San Diego State
Twice they have beaten good programs; Duke and Purdue

Dusty May really is a genius. He was talking today about how U-M intentionally had Cadeau “miss” off the backboard, which really was just a way to pass it down low to Mara in position on the block. This is beyond next level. It’s out of this world.
