We broke x402 trying to run it on Filecoin. Here's what we built to fix it. Filecoin's 7.5-hour finality doesn't work for real-time API payments. So we built FIL-x402, a multi-layer confirmation system, on-chain bond guarantees, and ERC-8004 agent identity for the agentic web. Deployed on Calibration testnet. Ready for feedback. over the past few years i've been trying to put my hands on different things figuring out what i like to do not as a profession but as a hobby that helps in my internal growth, i think i'm finally close this is my second PR at @libp2p that got merged in Jan github.com/libp2p/py-libp… here i worked upon standardising logger names in core modules of py-libp2p and after some intense techy feedback from members of both: the libp2p team and my fellow open source contributors, the PR finally merged yesterday everytime i tweet about a PR getting merged in Open Source Community, i feel the same excitement and i totally recommend everyone to contribute to the community thanks again @pldevguild :)

Looking ahead to 2026 Closing 2025 with acceptance into @pldevguild Cohort 5. Next up: I’ll be diving into the Filecoin ecosystem, contributing to IPFS and libp2p, and going deeper into Rust and systems engineering.

and merged so this was another open source issue i was working on during some spare time for the @libp2p where the objective was to fix the relay selection to prioritise active reservation. At the initial stage, I introduced round robin to pick the relay but later on I improvised the selection depending on the closest available relay. If incase two or more relays are at the same distance then we select by using round robin to prioritise and select one among them. Sounds cool right? @pldevguild
