@Xbox_Series_XS Look at it this way: the price doesn’t go up, because we get additional services. We get said services so the higher price will seem like a good deal. It was never about making it a la carte. It’s all about “shareholder value”.

But there was a reported "missed revenue" in hundreds of millions annually (citation needed) due to CoD being on GP day one. They wouldn't care less otherwise. But yeah, gaslight the masses that they are being listened to (like that).

@Snafu10265 @XboxGamePass Also factor in potential hundreds of millions they are missing out every year due to having CoD on it day one. "Player feedback" was (mostly) absolutely ruthless when they price has gone through the roof.

@XboxGamePass Based on "player feedback" or the revenue drop? The "feedback" I see in the comments is vastly different from when you jacked up the price. I welcome the lower cost, but the damage has been done: I'm fine with the absolute lowest tier just to play online (until I go 100% PC).

@JonnyDMusic @XboxGamePass I was able to find it at $20/mo and been paying that since they jacked up the price, at $30 they were dreaming. There should be a way to get a refund, if you front loaded long term, but not for the months you have used prior to when they lowered the price.

@7knows7 @plintus @PimpPoppaPot @ARCRaidersGame For high score you want shield off the key is to heal full as fast as possible to get stuck again and apparently certain places in certain maps get struck more. Got nearly 62k first attempt could definitely do better probably won’t bother this go around though.

@PimpPoppaPot @ARCRaidersGame Ah, gotcha. I am mainly friendly PvE, but I do get rats sometimes as well. There could be increased camping due to the map condition being a part of a trial (and increased loot value: I get rats on night raids on Stella and on cold snap maps here and there).

The other options would be to increase the crafting cost (see new Wolfpack reqs) and/or nerf the drop rate of the ingredients, but pricing adjustments were the easiest and with the least blast radius. Oh well. I don’t think I can recall a net positive PvE change.

@plintus @snejan8 @ARCRaidersGame If it hit me that hard imagine how hard it hit someone that can only play two or three days a week. I'm retired military, own a business, and I can play all I want. This shit hurt.

@GillinOakhill @snejan8 @ARCRaidersGame I agree, and it’s most definitely not ideal for more casual players who don’t grind and have a ton of gear options.

@plintus @snejan8 @ARCRaidersGame I have almost 500 hours topside and I will be playing about 80% less. I also needed a new Xbox to continue playing because mine is glitching, I will not be buying one. This Nerf was not needed. They are punishing the everyday player.

@BigBag1987 @ARCRaidersGame Credit where credit is due: I was taken out by a cheater last week, didn’t get a chance to report, but a few days later all my lost loot was returned. While it doesn’t solve the immediate issue, I was happy to see that it’s not being ignored.

Why don’t you try fixing the cheating problem first? Just search YouTube — people openly posting videos like “Playing ARC Raiders with cheats until I get banned.” Guess what… they’re not getting banned. When the game first came out I was getting loadouts back from unfair gameplay. Cheating has gotten worse since then, and now nothing gets returned. Feels like the anti-cheat is basically nonexistent.

@PimpPoppaPot @ARCRaidersGame Sounds like you are in PVP lobbies: I was revived multiple times last night while trying to extract (returned the favor in other runs). It’s not ideal, but I prefer this to the Locked Gate or Hidden Bunker, way higher chances of rats because of the loot. Keep trying.

@ARCRaidersGame Please revert the be struck by lightning trial.. literally attempted it for 2 hours yesterday and was killed by someone... literally got off and hopped on Marathon

@Edgeupgx @7knows7 @PimpPoppaPot @ARCRaidersGame Took me out me with a shield on last night: had a heavy on, half charge, about half health, wiped all out. Didn’t realize it was a thing.

@jestermarcos01 @ARCRaidersGame My issue with the expedition window is that it’s way too out in the future: I already have enough resources to depart, but now I have to wait for what, 7-8 weeks? Better have content ready in the meantime. Also - major connection issues this morning after the update. Fun.

@ARCRaidersGame Epic and legendary weapons need serious buffs to justify their usage. And you need to come up with another expedition system, because the credits and inventory value is awful 'cause people hoard stuff and never uses high tier gear in fear of not meeting the quota

Honestly, farming energy ammo for coins became a little too easy (I am already over the amount I need for the next expedition in no small part because of that). I kept it to myself, though. The point is sustain engagement. Could always bring that window closer, but…

@plintus @snejan8 @ARCRaidersGame I can understand the nerfs to the weapons because that is a major issue. If they ignore that people will not want to play the game. I don't understand why they keep decreasing the resale amount of items.

@snejan8 @GillinOakhill @ARCRaidersGame You need a certain amount for the expedition to get additional skill points after the wipe (used to be 5 mil, I think it’s 3 now, to get five).
