It's the same logo, just with a treatment. Logos are done as the bare bones black and white and later they figure out what treatment to use. It's not a new logo, it's a *treatment* of the old one.

@TheRooster @asha_shar Yes!!!!! Also the start and back buttons. I always get confused with the current setup with the 3 horizontal lines and the two overlapping square buttons. I always have to look at the controller. I know I’m not the only one.

First time seeing a W logo change I see they were inspired by Apple's Liquid Glass design. A total 180 from the "minimalism" that's ruled the world for the last decade. Hope other brands add some soul to their logos too Before: After:
