After that, they use GANs and VAEs to do face swapping and fine-tuning to adjust the results to improve realism with editing tools for refinement and synchronization.

So if one wants to make sure they can mask up with another person's face, they can use additional tools like a huge headphone to set the positions of encoding throughput and the area of masking.

Once malicious actors gather data of a human's face, they then align their face with the model face and then do cropping, resizing, and rotating to make sure their faces match with the model face that they want to deepfake upon to increase their robustness.

There are more ways to create deepfake content right now, two most used ones are Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs).
