@NoLore @davidpugliese Quit misleading people, or learn to read. Someone boarded the flight using a false name. Response was appropriate.

The people who gave a pass to Justin Trudeau wearing blackface so many times he doesn't remember how many, are the same people saying Don Cherry should not get the Order of Canada. As a former PM, Justin Trudeau will get the Order of Canada, as he should. So should Don Cherry.

@JackDan110 The lease is up. Read your lease agreements. They knew when the leases were going to expire when the signed the lease or when then took over the lease from someone else.

RESIDENTS of a Comox Valley trailer park have been EVICTED by the K'omoks First Nation band because the trailer park sits on their land. MANY of these residents have lived there for 40 years. 👀

You can still get Italian citizenship if you have a parent or grandparent born in Italy. There are still avenues to get Italian citizenship after living their for two years. This just stops the thousands of people that we applying with vague unprovable Italian connections from generations ago. These applications were clogging up the system making it difficult for legit applicants to be processed. Most of these applicants did not want to live in Italy, but just get an EU passport to go to Spain or other EU countries. It is still easier for an American citizen to get Italian citizenship, than an Italian to get American citizenship.

@KirkLubimov I give it close 2nd place after Hedy Fry's "burning crosses in Prince George" speech. Is it a coincidence that the two are friends and allies.

This may be the stupidest thing ever said in the House of Commons, and after 10+ years of Liberals that says a lot. Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Gregor Robertson: "It's no surprise that Canadians are challenged with buying homes right now when there is a war right now in the Middle East." 🤦🏼

They had many decades to apply. Should not have waited. It has been almost years since the initial legislation was drafted. This has been a topic in Italy for at least 20 years that I can remember. The system was being clogged by many South American applicants with vague links to Italy that could not be proven/verified trying to get Italian citizenship to get an EU passport to live/work in Spain.

@pmayvr @CNN @DanielaCambone True- but not misleading. It is a death blow to many descendants who are 3 rd generation, went through a lot of trouble and expense to gather the necessary paperwork and then the Italian government pulls this crap- in violation of its constitution.

Bullshit! This is a misleading article. You can still obtain Italian citizenship if you can prove one of your parents or grandparents were born in Italy. That has NOT changed. The new law is intended to stop the 25-30,000 applications they were receiving annualy from people (mostly from South America wanting an EU passport to live in Spain or Portugal) recquesting Italian citizenship based on some vague family connection many generations back that could not be verified. These were clogging up the system for legit requests for citizenship. The new law will actually make it easier for legitimate decendents to obtain citizenship.

@RacheousR88 @mamboitaliano__ I agree with the constitutional decision and the law itself but they should leave a door open for those Italian descendants who would like to live in Italy to get citizenship without any restrictions.

🚨 The ruling of the Italian Constitutional Court is absolutely shameful Banning citizenship by Italian bloodline offends the memory and heritage of the millions of people who emigrated across the world, and still carry the name of Italy and its flag with pride A disgrace 🇮🇹

@CNN As an Italian descendant, I actually wanted to get citizenship one day, at the very least so I could do some tourism over there, maybe even find a good place to live. Funny how it is - my country welcomes these people, but Italy won't welcome us. I see how it is like.

@CNN Many families have deep connections to Italy through their parents and grandparents. This law let them claim that heritage and citizenship. Changing it feels like losing that connection.
