The logo for my conference reminds me of MST3K. Trying to unsee this.

I'm very excited that the OUtMATCH study, run by my team under awards from NIAID, was central to the FDA's approval of omalizumab to treat food allergy. This is a huge win for everyone worried about accidental exposures to allergens. fda.gov/news-events/pr…

@chrissteinplays Haley got all 6 of the votes cast at midnight in Dixville Notch. Trump dismissed this as “a handful.”

People who are interested in this innovative Parkinson's trial should check out the trial website: ascendclinicaltrial.com It lists the inclusion criteria and a pre-screener.

A @DavisPhinneyFND blog on a new trial just posted. Of the two neural circuits we focus on in Parkinson's, the "direct" and "indirect" pathways, most drugs target the direct pathway. DBS targets the indirect. This drug could also help the indirect pathway. davisphinneyfoundation.org/clinical-trial…

This trial is currently recruiting! It would be great to get participants in Detroit, Scottsdale, Southern Illinois, Memphis, Boulder, and several sites across south Florida. Check the site listing here: clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06006…

@MerriamWebster OED does not agree regarding this origin of “jeans.” OED lists “Jeane” for Genoa as used briefly and obsolete after 1607, and “Jene” for twilled cotton cloth, “a kind of fustian,” arising later and describing pants in the 19th century. @OED, M-W, which is it?

‘Denim’ gets its name from the French words ‘de Nĭmes’ meaning "of Nĭmes," because it was manufactured in the city of Nĭmes. ‘Jeans’ comes from the city of Genoa (earlier known as Genes) because the pants were worn by the Genoese navy. 'JNCO' means “Judge None Choose One."
