Adran Premier Strategy. Was supposed to be released in spring, we're on June 1st. Clubs are already well underway with work for 2026/27, no one really knows where we stand. My biggest concern, "Adran Premier" Strategy, when really, it's everything underneath that has been utterly disappointing in every aspect this season. Llangefni Town and Connah's Quay Nomads should be in the division above. You win your league, you should go up. If you write a list of leagues where that isn't the case, you wouldn't use much ink. I get it in the past, clubs not being able to pass licensing, maybe not ready. But clubs are now ready, and aren't being allowed to progress. Off the pitch they're improving, on the pitch the quality has never been higher. It's a big few months ahead, and domestic football and the progression of it is really on the line. North Wales football has been completely held back by clubs not being able to move up. Just imagine if Wrexham Foresters hadn't gone up, and how that would have affected the Central Wales North League? Two seasons running for Llangefni and Connah's Quay. Where's the development in that? Extend the leagues, Welsh football needs it, and everyone can see it.

Interviews from today to come tomorrow, but on a final note today, this video has stuck in my mind since the game finished. Emotion everywhere, in different ways, for so many reasons. End of an era, new journeys beginning, some across seas, several hopefully staying in the Welsh game. Wrexham U19s winning a trophy they've been so close to winning on three occasions, and winning it in their final season as a group, feels fitting with the season and journey the women's and girls section has been on this season. Sad that it's the end of U19s football in North Wales, but the talent on display today and throughout the season gives a lot of hope that if the opportunities are presented, a lot of very good footballers will be coming through the ranks.

In the blink of an eye, Wrexham win the U19s league title 🏆 @FAWales @AdranLeagues what an absolute joke of a season you have put together!! Can't imagine how frustrating it has been for those South teams that made the effort to travel up North to see those games removed.

Did you know that, in 1991, Timmy Mallett, of Wacaday and "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" fame, tried explaining apartheid to children? The real plot twist is... he did a pretty great job of it. An exceptional job, in fact. They should have shown this in schools.

@BruceMcF @SimonLlewelly12 Having an u19 team was downgraded to category c (recommended) in the tier 1 licence requirements. So don't need to fret about Wrexham being relegated when they have already been awarded a tier 1 licence for next season.

@SimonLlewelly12 They cannot punish a member club for not participating in a competition they have elected to not offer. Now, if they required the U19's to be played among the Adran Prem sides, that would provide a competition with {scratch scratch scratch...} 8 teams in it. ...

@swales_mark @NoelMooney13 @FAWales Thank you again Noel and thanks Mark for taking time to reply. Im going to take a minute and re read the Wrexham's announcement. It might be a poorly worded statement or simply me making rash responses at 6am. Both your replies make sense, although it's tough on those 17+

@SimonLlewelly12 Yes, it was previously a license requirement for the Adran Premier. Not sure if that will have been changed or if they aim to change it. But usually rule changes have to be presented and ruled for/against for the following season ahead. Will be interesting to see how this goes!

@swales_mark Could be up to 45 players from Wrexham, TNS & CQN looking for new clubs. Will be interesting to see how many are lost to the Welsh domestic system and how many are lost to football completely.

@NoelMooney13 @Cymru Only thing that could spoil this result is the FAW scrapping the women's u19s league in the north... Oh wait, you did.
