Shopify POS, when struggling on bad Internet, should absolutely have a offline mode taking payments and processing later, even if the Internet won’t connect like it is absolutely fucking crucial. I am moving to Clover next week.

@louieelizondo @Shopify 👋🏾 I lead product for Shopify Point of Sale. Love your suggestion. We can def shave downs some friction and improve feedback on the post-scan screen. We will take a look at this

@shopify POS request (video attached) Can we get rid of the "add to cart" button in between each product scan? It slows us down during rush hour. Suggestion: split the barcode scanning screen in two. One side the same as now, with the camera view showing. 2nd side is the cart where you can see the added item with +/- for quantities. And the same slide function for deleting items. We're a a fast food restaurant that needs to moves quick in order to serve many customers during rush hour. Thanks guys! Hopefully something can be done. @tobi @harleyf @ShopifySupport
