In May 2013, a Cleveland neighbor named Charles Ramsey became an overnight sensation after helping rescue Amanda Berry, a young woman who had been missing for nearly a decade.
His live interview right after the rescue became one of the most unforgettable moments in television history.
Charles starts by setting the scene in the most Charles Ramsey way possible:
"Heard screaming. I was eating my McDonald's, I come outside, I see this girl going nuts trying to get out of a house."
He thought it was a regular domestic dispute.
So he walked up to help.
"I open the door and we can't get in that way because of how the door is, it's so much that a body can't fit through, only your hand. So we kick the bottom and she comes out with a little girl and she says, 'Call 911, my name is Amanda Berry'."
That name didn't hit him right away.
"When she told me, it didn't register until I got to call the 911 and I'm like, 'I'm calling the 911 for Amanda Berry?' I thought this girl was dead, you know what I mean?"
Then the detective on the scene asked him a question that made the whole thing sink in:
"Charles, do you know who you rescued?"
What makes the interview unforgettable is that Charles had been living next door to the kidnapper the entire time.
He had no idea.
"I've been here a year. I barbecue with this dude, we eat ribs and whatnot and listen to salsa music."
He describes the neighbor as someone completely unremarkable:
"He just comes out to his backyard, plays with the dogs, tinkers with his cars and motorcycles, and goes back in the house. So he's somebody that you look and you look away because he's not doing nothing but the average stuff. Nothing exciting about him... well, until today."
When more officers went into the house and rescued two other women, Charles couldn't believe what he was seeing:
"They went up there, you know, 30 or 40 deep, and when they came out it was just astonishing because I thought they were going to come up with nothing."
And then he delivered the line that the entire internet would quote for years:
"I knew something was wrong when a little pretty white girl ran into a black man's arms. Something is wrong here, dead giveaway. Either she's homeless or she's got problems, that's the only reason why she runs to a black man."

For anyone interested in a technical breakdown
-Fararge confirmed in an interview with the FT that his I'm a Celeb fee was paid into his company accounts.
-The accounts show no significant increase in fixed assets, so we know the house was not purchased via the company
-This means the only possible way Farage could have paid for the house with the I'm a Celeb fee, would have been to take a dividend from the company and use it to pay for the house
- In order to 'take home' £1.4m Farage would have had to take a dividend of more than £2.2m before income tax- see workings below. Please note this amount could be different, depending on his personal circumstances or tax arrangements, but even if he somehow paid NO tax (which is impossible) that's still £1.4m.
- We can see from the accounts that profits retained in the company increased by £1.25m, so he would have needed to make enough to pay the dividend ON TOP of the £1.25m.
- This means his company would have needed to make a profit of at least £2.65m AFTER expenses and corporation tax.
- This seems extremely unlikely based on analysis of his monthly income declared on his register of interests, completed by @OneFinanceGuy
- Also in the FT interview, Fararge said that the high profit in the year was mainly attributable to his I'm a celeb fee - not other earnings, so again, this would contradict his own statements.
- What's more, when the FT asked about this directly, Reform refused to comment.

Does anybody from the Kingstanding area of Birmingham recognise this fella?
He stole a lion statue from the front of my nans house at 8:45pm on Friday. It's more than just a lion statue though, as it was bought by my late grandad who sadly passed in January.
Any information about this bloke is appreciated.
Please share, repost, anything you can to push the post and get him recognised and get the statue returned.

Tommy Robinson's supporters weren't happy with my clip of the rally, saying it was "before the event" or "at the end" (it was the latter).
So, here is a clip from the middle of the event. You can clearly see that the area is not even packed.
Tommy wants us to believe that there were "millions" of people. He's a clown.

@JeremyTate41 Isn’t that a Shakira gig, we saw the turn out for Lil’ Tommy… even with folks only there to watch the footy, it wouldn’t have filled a medium sized conference centre.
