💢 BREAKING | Israel says it carried out new airstrikes in southern Lebanon near a “Yelliw Line” Israel’s military said it launched airstrikes and artillery fire in southern Lebanon after detecting people approaching its forces south of a newly defined “Yellow Line” – similar to a line it uses in Gaza to murder unarmed civilians near (and often hundreds of meters from it) and destroy structures inside it ➤ The IDF claims individuals crossed from north of the line toward Israeli troops, prompting “precise strikes” by air and ground forces to deal with an immediate threat. No evidence of a threat was shared. ➤ It said artillery supported troops and that infrastructure used people used for attacks was also targeted ➤ Israel claims such actions fall under “self-defense” and are not restricted by the ceasefire agreement The military said it will continue bombings and attacks to “remove any threat” to its forces and civilians.
