@Srirachachau I don't think it does! I think it just shows him learning to like kids as people, but that wouldn't necessarily make him want kids. I love kids, I'm great with kids, I'm not sure if I want them personally

Don't like that Grant and Sattler aren't together in the third one because Grant still doesn't want kids. Maybe that's realistic or whatever but it makes his arc in the first one less meaningful

@bhosdabhai I genuinely do not know about that but I'd believe it! It has been known to me as an Italian and Jewish enclave since I was a child but time does change these things.... I barely go there except for beach days like twice a year haha

the confounding factor is that autistic kids as babies are less likely to be able to breastfeed, same for kids who have developmental delays.
my autistic daughter was incredibly difficult to breastfeed, but i was able to. doesn't change the autism!

@BertDalziel Breastfed children have significantly lower odds of being diagnosed with autism. And data comparing biological siblings raised in the exact same wealthy environment...the sibling who was breastfed showed higher cognitive milestones and lower rates of developmental delays.

Whenever parents are like “we don’t do character clothing” I’m like ok you don’t have to wear it but it’s wild to me that if your child requests a bluey shirt you’re gonna say no just bc you don’t like the aesthetic??
