PSA: Everything about Gacha - Does pity carry over between banners? Yes. Your pity progress carries over to future banners. - Can you lose the featured character before reaching 100 pity? Yes. The limited character banner has no 50/50, but you can still obtain standard characters before reaching 100 pulls. If you haven't obtained the featured character earlier, you are guaranteed to receive them on the 100th pull. - Can you get the featured character early? Yes. You can obtain the featured character before 100 pulls. However, early pulls can also be standard characters. If you obtain the featured character early, your pity resets to 0. - Does Weapon work the same as a featured character banner? Mostly, yes. The weapon banner follows the same system, but according to the CBT2 rules, there is a chance to lose the 50/50 before pity. However, if you haven't obtained the featured weapon by then, it is 100% guaranteed at 80 pulls. - Is the featured character only guaranteed on the 100th pull? Yes. This is called the Spark System.
