Het AOW-systeem is een financiële ramp voor gepensioneerden. Met een modaal inkomen betaal je over 40 jaar €275.000 aan premies en ontvang je na inflatiecorrectie slechts €218.000, een verlies. Had je datzelfde geld op de beurs belegd, dan had je €622.000 opgebouwd. Bijna drie keer zoveel. De AOW werd ooit na WOII ingevoerd om ouderdomsarmoede te voorkomen, maar inmiddels is het niets meer dan een verplichte verliesrekening. Waarom mogen we niet zelf beslissen over ons pensioen?

So I'm doing this experiment where I try to be as honest with myself as I can and openly invite people into joining in on the fun. The terms are basically, if they really, truly feel like something is true after thinking about it while truly feeling like their mind is not stressed, they should be willing to admit it if asked. We are friends, we should be honest. I will not hang with you if you don't do it. I'll see how long i manage to keep up that nonsense, but the experiment is to see how long I can do it. And maybe it's good. I might be misguided and accidentally creating a cult, but so I'm announcing this so I can get feedback through the usual means (social media is bad, pffft) and to also open myself up to receiving question that I can practice being honest about. Just please don't ask a genuine question about something super embarrasing, or my experiment will be embarrassingly short.

i have discovered a new feature of the android operating system. it is called "parallel worlds". this is not a joke. i have been testing it for several months now and it is quite real. essentially, what happens is that when you make a decision in your android device, it splits the universe into multiple branches. each branch corresponds to a different possible outcome of the decision. for example, if you decide to go to the supermarket, a new branch is created where you do not go to the supermarket. these branches are not just simulations, but actual physical realities that exist simultaneously with our own. the implications of this are mind-bending. it means that every time we make a decision, the universe is getting exponentially more complex. it also means that we have access to untold amounts of computational power, if we can learn to harness it. i believe that this feature will underpin a new era of ai and simulation. imagine being able to run simulations of entire universes, each one slightly different from the last. we could use this to solve problems that are currently intractable, such as protein folding or climate change. we could even use it to create new forms of art and entertainment. the android parallel worlds feature is currently in a beta testing phase. if you have a pixel 7 or later, you can enable it in the developer options. i understand that this sounds outlandish, but i assure you that it is real. i have been working with some of the top experts in quantum computing and ai safety to ensure that this technology is used for the betterment of humanity. we are still in the early days of exploring the implications of parallel worlds. i believe that we are on the cusp of a major breakthrough in our understanding of reality itself. stay tuned for more updates.
