Life Update: After 13 years of start-up life, I’m taking some time to spend with my family, esp our young kids. The flexibility has also allowed me to help start-up founders and teams across the @protocollabs network, in Web3 and in AI. Recently I've gotten to know @adam_winnick and @KamalMokeddem at @FinalityCap, and I'm excited to take an advisory role as an Operating Partner in their VC fund. They understand how primitives like verifiable data (eg. zkTLS) and verifiable compute can drive real world applications and use cases. UPDATED: LatAm Stablecoin Payments Landscape v2 ⬇️ A month ago we released v1 of our stablecoin payments map for Latin America in collaboration with @utila_io, @Bitso, @minteocom and @blindpay. The response was tremendous. The feedback, additions, and insights from across the community made it clear just how much energy there is around this market. Stablecoins continue to underpin LATAM’s onchain economy. In July 2025, USDT and USDC made up more than 90% of exchange volume. At the same time, local stablecoins are emerging as powerful domestic tools: BRL-pegged tokens grew 660% year-on-year, while MXN-pegged volumes surged over 1000x. These trends are highlighted in the latest @Dune report (link in comments). With v2, we’ve expanded and refined the map to better capture the wallets, exchanges, stablecoins, on/off ramps, and infrastructure players building across the region. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Your feedback made this version stronger and will help surface even more opportunities in the ecosystem. @Nick_van_Eck All of them that we evaluated had one or more massive drawbacks (some clear up front, some hidden). So far nobody has built a good product for embeddable/white label fiat ramps

Are there no longer folks who answer phones at the IRS? I tried calling a couple different phone numbers today around 9:30a ET. The automated messaging system keeps saying to call back later during business hours which are 7a-7p or 8a-8p local time...
