Jake isn't "retarded" he's a very accomplished MMA fighter and he has some slight aphasic issues with talking and texting. Aphasia is not retardation, it's an incongruence with the information in the mind translating directly into speech and text. Jake Shields despite his lifetime career of being a fighter and having slight Aphasic issues is actually a very intelligent person, which is why he's surrounded by so many well informed and knowledgeable people. Jake also put Nick on when NOBODY else would, on his own self-funded podcast and helped to rehabilitate his image from a seedy, basement dwelling podcaster into a serious political commentator that people like Tucker Carlson could interview. This is an extremely weak and petty attack from Nick, who himself knows that the majority of people actually agree with Jake Shields and Dan Bilzerian, so he makes this excuse up as to why he doesn't have to debate them, because it would make him "look bad" to his own audience not being able to slam dunk "debate" them for a "win".
