Was standing on the far sideline at Stellos. A few parents were on the other side of the fence behind me, yelling. They left at some point, and then a little while later, official turned around to see I was the only one there, so it had to have been me and said I had to leave.

@mnhopper1s And last year I went to full-time (I was originally part-time with another FT direct hire AT on staff) I hated feeling forced to refer needlessly and hope I NEVER have to go back to outreach/clinic. I get claustrophobic in clinics.

@mnhopper1s I’ve been at the same HS for 19 years. The first four were contracted and the contract was abruptly dropped when they closed a satellite office (although I think it’s cause I didn’t refer enough-not send every ankle sprain to PT. Thankfully HS hired me directly (1/2)

High school athletic training is definitely interesting. Some argue that being employed directly makes for better job environment (personally I have this opinion). Others say contracts with healthcare organizations is better. The idea of “athletic vs medical model.” 1/
