@angijones @flotsamnjetsom It seems to be a way for the pharmaceutical industry to expand their market to kids. They know that protective parents will try to stop them overprescribing to and over vaccinating kids.

15 year old son had a blood test. Doctor asked me to ring on Friday for the results. Receptionist said “we can’t give you his results because he is over 14 and hasn’t given explicit consent.” This isn’t to empower or protect kids, this is the State incrementally removing parents as the primary guardian of children while children are still naive and suggestible.

@angijones It's down to Gillick competency rules. Unfortunately some parents are stupid, bigoted, uneducated and total monsters. Parents have, in the past refused blood transfusions for their children, refused other life saving treatments, used consent to hide abuse.

I walked down a high street today & the only shops were charity shops, vape shops, Turkish barbers & nail salons. As I didn’t want any of these I didn’t hang around long. How has this been allowed to happen?
