This morning, CEHURD proudly joined over 100,000 Ugandans in the Kabaka’s Birthday Run 2025, a powerful show of unity in the fight against HIV/AIDS. This year’s run is focused on reducing #HIV infections among young women and girls, a cause aligning strongly with CEHURD’s mission of advancing #SRHR & the right to health. Organized annually by the Kingdom of Buganda in honor of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s birthday, the run has, since 2014, supported healthcare initiatives - ranging from fistula surgeries to sickle cell and HIV testing and awareness campaigns. The Kabaka Birthday Run is not just a race but an opportunity for us to advocate for policies that prioritize access to HIV prevention & care services and awareness creation. #KabakaBirthdayRun2025 #TBHIVHumanRights
