Interesting read Raoul. I read a book about 20 years ago (cant remember the name) hypothesizing that the universe was one big computational system and the universe's expansion would eventually slow and revert to compression such that as the universe's knowledge expanded that knowledge would take over the entire universe as we ran out of space. Eventually that would compress back to a singularity and at that point we become a single god with infinite knowledge. I'm sure I got some of that wrong but I'm sure you get the idea. Crazy ideas but fun read.

@cboyack In the past, technology has replaced the physical capabilities of humans. What we can do with our bodies. As these physical jobs got eliminated, new jobs were created for humans using their brains. AI is replacing the human brain. Thats different. Thats fundamentally new.

Putting out fires before they spread does not seem like a serious technological challenge in a world with @SpaceX, @xai and @anduriltech. So @elonmusk and @PalmerLuckey, why don’t we start a company that uses satellites, AI, and drone technology to put out fires before they spread? One can envision satellite monitoring, rapid drone investigation, and drone swarm water delivery. The number of drones sent to extinguish the fire and the nature of the extinguishing agent (water, foam, dry or wet chemicals etc) would be a function of the nature and scale of the fire. No human lives would be put a risk and there is no risk of DEI involvement in drone selection. What do you think? I would love to invest. And it would be very good for real estate values in California.
