Well, another year in the books! I’m feeling so very blessed for the people in my life. Things have been bumpy lately and the people around me continue to uplift me even on my worst days. Having true friendships, love, and a supportive family is the best birthday gift I could have ever asked for. (The second best gift would’ve been a lil pudgy 👀😂) Thank you to everyone who has sent me birthday wishes. It fills my heart with so much love, which keeps me pushing forward. Some honorable mentions: @Cryptomethod took me out for a beautiful dinner and has been spoiling me with snacks all month. He is truly a blessing in my life and I’m happy to be spending this birthday with him in person ❤️ @Loredangoo made this adorable drawing for me and I cried! You’ve got two boys keeping life busy, you and @ppmcghee have built something real together, and you still somehow make time to pour into people around you. When you were in MY and SG in 2024, you didn’t just “play” VibesTCG, you literally taught it and helped others learn. That stuck with me. It’s such a small thing on paper, but it says a lot about who you are. Also, your taste is hilarious in the best way. Chuck E. Cheese birthday party energy, pizza, honey, and then… a Cybertruck. A lesson on doing the right thing… Yesterday I took my son to get a new baseball bat and bag from Academy. We checked out and on the way to the field I glanced down at the receipt. They only charged me for the bag. The bat is a $500 bat. I told my son we would go back after the game and pay for the bat. He asked me “why? It was free…” so that gave me a minute to explain that we should always be honest and do the right thing. After the game we stopped by Academy and paid for the bat. They looked at me funny but were very appreciative. The bat also rang up for $100 less than it was marked at. I took it. My wife was hosting an event for her job so couldn’t make it to the game. On her way home we talked about the bat, and she also told me she won $800 in a raffle and never wins anything… Karma. Always do the right thing. The world needs more of it. ❤️
