I never thought I’d have to post this 😭 This 25th December 🥹 I attempted to sell ₦1,000,000 worth of crypto on @BybitAfrica P2P to a vendor named NNESOMA HAPPIN NNAJIOFOR (high ratings, all filters checked). He sent a fake transfer. The payment reflected on my OPay as FAILED and RISKY immediately. Despite this, my 700 USDT is still locked. I’m calling on @Bybit_Official @BybitAfrica to urgently review this case, reverse the trade and take action against this vendor. Please help me retweet and tag anyone who can escalate this. IMO, airdrop farming isn't dead, but it is now too saturated. Is the meta dead? No. Is it getting harder to compete? 100%. So, after the Monad drop, sold all my coins to stables and made a decision. DAY 3 of sharing insights about @brevis_zk . Let’s discuss on how brevis makes full historical data accessible, verifiable and programmable since smart contracts can’t easily give a full detailed history about previous data. ✅WHY SMART CONTRACTS CANNOT EASILY READ HISTORY. Smart contracts live on blockchains and they are deterministic programs that run when triggered. They can easily access current state e.g checking the current balance of a particular wallet address. But they cannot natively scan back through historical data e.g What was the balance of this address 0xba5ed… every month for the last 2 years?” or “How many times did this wallet interact with a particular protocol since 2020?. This is because: i. Full history is stored across millions of blocks. ii. Smart contracts are constrained by gas costs and performance limits. iii. Iterating over historical blocks inside a smart contract is impractical and often impossible. ✅ WHAT BREVIS DOES? Brevis (by zk technology) provides a way to: i. Access historical blockchain data in a structured manner. ii. Prove (using zero-knowledge proofs) that the historical data is correct without requiring the smart contract to re-check every block. iii. Make it programmable, meaning contracts can now react to long-term patterns, not just the latest state. Think of Brevis as a “VERIFIABLE HISTORY ORACLE” for blockchains. Here’s a real-life example👇🏻 Let’s imagine a DeFi loyalty program ✔️Without Brevis: A lending protocol wants to reward wallets that have provided liquidity for at least 12 months without withdrawing. The protocol cannot easily check this on-chain, because it would require reading thousands of blocks of history. ✔️With Brevis: Brevis can scan historical data across all blocks, generate a zero-knowledge proof that wallet 0xba5ed…. has continuously provided liquidity since this particular block(384688252). The smart contract only verifies the proof (which is cheap), and then rewards the user. Brevis makes blockchain history accessible and reliable for smart contracts, allowing them to use past data without doing heavy computations. gBrevis #ZKProof #Defi #brevisnetwork
