What magnificent creatures! Tigers transcend cultures roaming freely through our stories, art and imagination. But to stay safe and grow, they must also be able to roam freely across connected landscapes. Just launched at #FFD4, the Tiger Landscapes Investment Fund (TLIF) is a bold new financing mechanism to channel public and private capital into protecting tiger habitats, while supporting surrounding community livelihoods. @UNDP, in partnership with @UNCDF and the Tiger Conservation Coalition, backed by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment and Cartier for Nature, is all in. TLIF is already active in Thailand and Malaysia supporting MSMEs and local financial institutions, showing that purpose-driven catalytic finance can move mountains....and tigers! go.undp.org/UKk
