Hello Salaam… @FarooqiMehr I recently had the opportunity to read your paper regarding Firaq Gorakhpuri and Hasan Askari… Acc to you this paper examines how their personal lives particularly their homosexuality influenced their work.. I dont get why Faruqi sahab and now you are still after Firaq Gorakhpuri and his homosexuality..? What hatred you both have for him…. Just because he was a Hindu..?? Allow me to tell you that i met faruqi sahab in Delhi in 2017…. and on asking him about Firaq’s Indianised poetry he said “ Ama miyan aap kahan peeche pade huye hain is hindu shayar ke ” That day it made me clear that Mr Faruqi had something personal for Firaq…Because how faruqi sahab had been after firaq , no critic has been after any poet..until and unless he has something personal for him….. I have been studying firaq and researching on him since 12 years… Met great professors , critics, and firaq’s student… They may differ on certain points but never been his homosexuality a point to hate him… Let me tell you this news of homosexuality which people call an “ open secret” was given wings by firaq himself “ First” ..Who on earth can claim that he knew it first before Firaq’s open acceptance ..? Is this the point you and your father got for defaming him…. All his life Mr Faruqi has advocated for Mir’s greatness than ghalib.. No issue.. but We all know mir’s Amrad-parasti.. It is also an open secret… You yourself must be knowing few of mirs sher regarding this topic…. mir’s Love for “ Young male child” has been an open secret… Did you or Mr Faruqi dared him to call Pedophile/paedophile..?? The answer is no.! Then for a student like me its obvious that you have a double face because you guys sing glory songs for Mir who is an open Pedophile and defame Firaq gorakhpuri who acc to himself has been homosexual for just some years .. My god You havent spared Mr Askari even.. You have tried to prove that askari and firaq had sexual relations..thats why Askari praised Firaq.. Am i right.??
