@theLuvai Naah. Morphine is not even the first line drug for MI. placing it on the top & reciting it first followed by O2 which is also not necessary for everyone undermines the importance of dual antiplatelets, statins & anticoagulants in MI.

MONA is a useless mnemonic for MI management. Morphine and O2 are NOT given to every patient, yet many MBBS students still start with these when asked. Clopidogrel, anticoagulants, and statins, used routinely but are missing. Mnemonics should reflect real clinical practice.

@hagrid_dore He/she must have been spending too much time in the HOD office instead of treating the patients.

@prarit_v Routine o2 in pts saturating well may potentially worsen the symptoms thru free radical formation and reflex vasoconstriction in the hyperoxic state

@Chandle74418127 You don't start with morphine, neither academically nor clinically which is a second line drug. Any mnemonic starting with M in MI management is trash.

@prarit_v It hasn’t been MONA in decades man. It’s MONA BASH-C. Still terrible, but might as well review the thing modern med students actually learn.

@PJaseja I may not have any problem with 100 other things but a MBBS student should know the loading dose in MI before learning about morphine & O2.

NHAI would like to clarify that the pavement conditions shown pertain to the 25 km long Kim–Bharuch stretch of Bharuch-Surat section in Gujarat, which is currently under implementation. The Bharuch–Surat section includes multiple packages (4, 5, 6 & 7), out of which Packages 4, 6 and 7 are operational with satisfactory riding quality. Package-5 was opened on a trial basis from 10.01.2026 to ease congestion in the Bharuch–Ankleshwar region and reduce traffic load on NH-48. It is further clarified that improvement works are ongoing in Package-5, including panel rectification to enhance riding quality. NHAI has already initiated corrective measures, and for safety, adequate traffic management measures, including “Go Slow” cautionary signage, have been installed along the stretch. Traffic movement remains regulated and monitored. Attached images for reference.

I’ve been on the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. Some parts are so bad that it will make a competent engineer hide in shame. When history is written, BJP’s greatest failure will be burning tons of money for shabby infra. And killing the spirit of every infra-enthusiast in India.

What’s common between AI responses and Indian govt babus? They’re never satisfied with the first version…even if it's working, keep on digging. 'Do you want a better version of that?' Obviously… pehle kyun nahi bana ke diya phir? 😑
